Building Up and Breaking the Temple

Jon pointed out that the verticality of the temple had been all but diminished in the new version, which meant that the grappling hook would not be very useful, so we added a few more rooms, and moved the remainder around. Additionally, we added a tower post to really emphasize the verticality of the level and I added a rough spaceship to create destruction through the areas that it would have crashed through. I will still need to clean this up a lot, but the overall dimensions of everything are in-engine.

Next week, Connor and I will work to get the textures tested in game, in order to figure out any changes that need to be made in the next few weeks. After that, I will focus on modelling a final version of the exterior for the spaceship as well as more finalized versions of the temple assets, work with Emma and Kyle to implement the character animations, and polish wherever needed. The next milestone we have to hit is in three weeks, where we will be presenting our game at the Oakville Public Library.
